2010 B Troop Reunion - Branson MO

 Welcome to the website of the B Troopers who spent time together in Vietnam during 1967-1968.  We've been through a lot together and it is gratifying to know that after over 40 years we still are looking out for one another.   We look forward to our yearly reunions where we are able to get together and recall the stories of yesteryear.  The comment heard from those who have attended their first reunion with us is that coming to a reunion has helped them to understand the duty that they carried out over 40 years ago.

We are still looking to reunite with some of our group who we haven't seen in over 40 years. 

DATES: Wednesday September 29 through Sunday October 3, 2010

(there is an airport in Branson for those that want to fly in. Let us know so someone can be there to pick you up as many of us are driving and cars should be plentiful)

ROOM RATE: When registering, advise you are with B Troop 1st Squadron
1st Armored Calvary. $89.00 per night IF RESERVED PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER
7, 2010!!! After that date, rates will be at current price based on
availability. For those that want to go early or stay later this rate will apply for 3 days prior and 3 days after the reunion dates. If you need handicap assistance advise them when registering.

HOSPITALITY ROOM: Daily, times it will be open are yet to be determined but likely from when someone wants it until no one does (for you early birds and night owls)

Caps and tee shirts will be ordered, so specific sizes and quantities of each need to be sent to Don Weese ASAP so we can finalize numbers and design.

 

We recall our trip via military ship to Vietnam leaving San Francisco in August, 1967.  We also recall time spent together on Hawk Hill and LZ Ross along with many other details.  It has been extremely helpful to those who were with us to reunite with each other and piece the whole story together of many of the details of the things that happened during our tour of duty in Vietnam.
